Commuter / Living Independently Off Campus Student Outreach
Commuter Services (Student Activities)
The mission statement of commuter services at UB is to offer commuter students a link to the campus community through programming, advocating and providing a welcoming environment. Their website offers information on getting involved, commuter resources (like the commuter lounge and campus lockers), metro passes, the commuter ride board, and the commuter listserv.
Off Campus Housing (Sub-Board I)
This website is designed to help students find off-campus housing in the Buffalo area. Tips are provided about signing a lease and other off-campus related issues. A list of local apartment complexes is offered, and students can search this list free of charge.
Off Campus Student Services (Student Affairs)
This comprehensive webpage has been designed to offer advice and resources to UB students who currently live off campus or who are considering living off campus. This site includes information to help students decide if living off campus is the right choice for them, and to provide them with important questions they should ask before signing any lease. Students will also find information and resources they can use to answer questions that may arise once they move off campus. Using the information on this site will help students gain a better understanding of what living off campus entails and allow them to make the best of their experience living in an off campus community.
