Amateur Radio Society (SA)
An oasis in the collegiate desert for hams thirsty to get a license and set up and operate an amateur radio station on campus. WBFO FM 88.7
This University licensed radio station has internship opportunities for UB students. Volunteer opportunities and community outreach are also available for clubs and organizations during on air membership campaigns. WRUB (Sub-Board I, Inc.)
The ONLY student run radio station at the University at Buffalo.
Broadcasting on Campus Cable Channel 7, WRUB plays a wide mix of Local music (bands from around Western New York), World, Jazz, Loud Rock, Experimental, and Hip-Hop music, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
