Spirit Groups
SPIRIT SQUAD
UB Cheerleaders (Varsity) 
This co-ed squad cheers at home football games, as well as men's and women's basketball games. The cheerleaders are part of the Division of Athletics and the UB Spirit Team. They work to create a collegiate atmosphere for Bulls games and events.
UB Dazzlers (Student Life)
The Dazzlers are the official dance team of the University at Buffalo. They perform at all home football games, as well as all men's and women's home basketball games. The Dazzlers also travel to tournaments with the basketball teams. The Dazzlers practice twice a week, focusing on jazz and hip hop based routines. This year the team is participating in many local competitions. Previous dance experience is required, and auditions will be held in the first week of the fall semester.
UB Mascots (Student Life/Athletics)
Victor E. Bull and his sister Victoria S. Bull are the official mascots of the University at Buffalo. They are present at a variety of sporting events and other activities around campus.
FAN SUPPORT CLUBS
True Blue (SA)
True Blue is a new club on campus, but it is already making great strides toward legendary status. UB's most ardent fans, those who never miss a game because of the cold and are always ready to paint themselves blue to show their spirit, can join this club and meet other like themselves. Club members often support UB teams by traveling to away games and fundraising for athlete-focused programs. The true goal of True Blue is to make a fun and exciting game-day atmosphere both on campus and at athletic events. They hope to become known as "the most feared student section in the MAC".
Mighty Maniacs (Student Relations)
This program is a fun incentive program to increase student attendance and school spirit among students at the University at Buffalo basketball games. The Mighty Taco Mighty Maniacs provide a solid, steadfast fan base at all men's and women's home basketball games. Students who participate in the program receive free t-shirts and are eligible to win various prizes dependant upon their dedication to the program.
SPIRIT BANDS
UB Marching Band (Student Life)
The Thunder of the East Marching Band can be heard at every home football game during pre-game parades, field shows, and time-outs. The Marching Band is dedicated to music, promoting school spirit, pride, and traditions, as well as supporting the UB Bulls football team. Band members are a symbol of school spirit at UB and often form lifelong friendships with many of the students they meet.
UB Pep Band (Student Life)
Blue Noise, UB's Pep Band, is a 60-piece ensemble that performs at all home basketball games. Their musical mixture of funk, jazz, and rock provides the spirit that fuels both the fans and the players at each game. The pep band is a vital component of the UB Spirit Team.
Kappa Kappa Psi (Student Life)
